like love ~
wanton, lucent
light slips through my eye, dawn
oozes into bones, breast, throat; thoughts
of you
even
the sun knows you,
my light, tides of hope shored
against our own horizons, surge
once more
you can’t
shut it out, light
dances on a breeze ~ its
not a distant thing, it just is ….
